Lateral Dynamics was created to fill a void in the performance aftermarket industry. Specifically, we are primarily interested in those products and solutions that help early muscle cars perform at the highest level possible in a road race environment, with an emphasis on suspension systems. Through researching ways to modify our own cars to work well on the racetrack, it became clear that there were many opportunities to develop products well beyond what the industry offered. The place where others have left off, is where we begin. It is interesting to note that those solutions to improve high- speed handling are also completely at home on the street, auto-cross circuit, and drag strip.

Our approach is to apply the ideas and designs that are proven winners on the track to products that can be installed, tuned, and used by proud and passionate enthusiasts. Our intention is to put performance and true function first, while still being clever enough to package the ideas in a way that can be reliably applied to our customer’s projects. Our goal is to bridge the gap between “high performance” muscle cars, and purpose built race cars, and we simply won’t stop until we succeed. Our success will be measured through the satisfaction of our customers: through their driving enjoyment, improved lap-times, and their recommendations of our products and services to others.

We started this business knowing that our products won’t be for all consumers. And frankly, that’s okay, because there is never one solution that will meet everyone’s needs. There is always a compromise in some aspect of a design, or product, and we intend to differentiate ourselves by telling you what we gave up in order to create the best overall performance system.
