We will be introducing several
different products in the near future. Currently in development
is our front suspension system, that will be adapted to many
different cars and will be an excellent match to our superior
rear suspension systems. Some of the other products we have in
the pipeline are not suspension oriented, but will further
compliment the high performance build and will solve issues that
we have come across while building customer cars as well as our
own. Please check back periodically to see the progress on these
exciting new performance solutions!
Lateral Dynamics made its public debut
at the 2005 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The show was huge, and we
gained a tremendous amount of exposure and insight as a result.
A lot of our friends stopped by to say hello, and we made a
tremendous amount of new contacts. Doing a four day trade show
is really hard work, but the energy that we gained from the
enthusiastic folks that visited kept us going strong. SEMA is a
“trade only” show...
The first step in the process is to
inspect the car for any alignment or frame damage that will
affect the installation of the new rear suspension. Measure the
wheelbase and cross-wheel dimensions to insure the car is square
and true. Disconnect the battery, drain and remove the fuel
tank. At minimum, drain the rear portion of the brake hydraulic
system, and remove the rear brake line leading to the axle
assembly from the rear chassis area...
Welcome to Lateral-Dynamics.com, the internet home of Lateral
Dynamics, LLC. Thank you for stopping by. Inside the site you
will find information on our novel 3-Link Rear Suspension
Systems for early muscle cars, a bit of technical explanation
that shows why we take the approach that we do, and a gallery of
our own project cars as well as some of the customer cars we
have worked on.
Lateral Dynamics, LLC was formed to develop and market road
race inspired performance handling solutions for early American
muscle cars. Our intention is to offer the best quality, highest
performance potential, and greatest value systems to our
customers. Our approach is not only to apply engineering and
testing rigor into our designs, but also to inform the customer
about the specifics of our systems; we feel strongly that a
customer needs to be educated in order to make the best decision
for their particular application. Visit our Products page for
specifics on our 3-Link Rear Suspension Systems, and also visit
our FAQ page for answers to many specific questions. Our Gallery
section has pages covering some of the cars we have worked on
with a great deal of photos.
